Page one within a week of the push: a research-peptide brand, first month

PeptidesSEO ResearchPublished 2026-09-08Updated 2026-09-08

A US research-peptide ecommerce brand signed a $2,999-a-month retainer in July 2026. Its flagship product page sat at position 37 for its own category term. Inside the first month we pushed that page; it reached page one within a week of the push. The client reported that sales doubled and that one order alone was worth about $3,400. The page-one hold was temporary; the page sits in the top 15 today.

Starting position

A US research-peptide store on a mainstream ecommerce platform, with a healthy domain (authority in the 40s on a 100-point scale) and a thin organic footprint: 68 ranking keywords, roughly 1,100 US organic visits a month, and 84% of that traffic landing on a single product page. Paid traffic was out-pulling organic. There was no informational content on the site at all. The client's payment processor had already forced a content strip on the money pages once, which had caused the ranking drop he wanted fixed.

The problem

Single point of failure on one page, a flagship blend with 26,000 searches a month and near-zero keyword difficulty sitting at position 37, and a compliance perimeter (research-use-only framing, processor vocabulary rules) that every new word had to respect.

The opportunity

The flagship blend's page was the obvious near-win: real demand, no competition to speak of, a page that already existed and already had some authority. A second product page sat at position 11 for a 7,200-search term. Neither needed a content calendar. They needed a push and the durable work underneath.

The intervention

  • Retainer scope: ten site-content pieces and ten links a month, plus two pushes included in the package.
  • Weeks one to two: commercial SERP map, near-win audit, seventeen research-framed articles written and gated against the client's compliance rules (held for the client's review, as agreed).
  • Day 16 (24 July 2026): first engagement-signal push launched on the flagship product page, US-targeted, with the page's keyword set tracked daily.
  • Day 26 (3 August 2026): weekly report sent showing the week's movement and current positions. The client asked to run the second push on the same page.

Commercial outcome

The client reported that sales doubled and that a single order alone was worth about $3,400. Those two numbers are his, from his own store data, relayed in writing to his account manager. We measured the rankings; he measured the till. We have not audited his sales figures and we say so.

Limitations

  • The page-one position was temporary. A push is a push. The durable movement is from 37 to the top 15 with the link and content work running underneath.
  • "Sales doubled" is client-reported and the comparison window is his; we do not know whether it is product-level or store-level.
  • "$3,400" is the value of one order, not a weekly total, not profit, not an attributed figure.
  • The client stays anonymous. The category makes public attribution a risk for him, and we do not publish screenshots of client data.

Next phase

Second push on the same page (requested by the client), continued research-framed content and links, and a planned migration off the client's ecommerce platform after product removals, with a full redirect map so the rankings survive. One product cluster was frozen by manufacturer litigation in August; the plan moved to the replacement revenue driver rather than the frozen compound.

What it demonstrates

Before you build more, find out what you can monetise already. Then build the moat.
